New "RPM floor", free: pick a minimum rpm and the fans won't drop below it. Below 50 °C they stay at that minimum; between 50 and 90 °C they ramp up on their own in a straight line to the maximum. The floor only ever raises speed: if you ask for more by hand, with a preset or with a rule, that's respected. It keeps working with the window closed, and turning it off returns the fans to automatic, except any you set by hand.
Safer: if the app quits abruptly (a crash or a force quit), the fans go back to automatic instead of staying at a manual speed. This updates the system helper, so the first time the app touches the fans after updating it will ask for your administrator password once.
The Pro screen explains better what it adds: rules with your own conditions (a sensor and its threshold, or an open app), saved and applied on their own. The Automation icon is no longer a clock, which suggested time-based rules.
No more Quit button in the main window or in saver mode: quit with ⌘Q or from the menu bar widget, and the fans go back to automatic just as before.
The switches and the RPM floor slider stay blue when the window isn't in front: they used to turn gray and look disabled.
Automation rules can be edited: click one to change its condition or what it applies, without deleting it and creating it again.

Actually fixes the license link in the email: 1.2.1 still pointed to the wrong place.
The combined graph stops claiming a fixed time window ("last ~15 min") — it never was one, since it depends on saver mode. It now just says "the most recent stretch of history".

New "Open at login" option, so your automatic rules keep running after a restart.
The license email now arrives in HTML, with the key and signature in bold.

Automatic updates. The app can now tell you when a new version is out and download it signed, without going through the website. It asks the first time; say no and it never connects again. More detail on the security page.
If a purchase gets refunded, that key stops working as soon as you update.

These releases shipped as direct downloads, without public version numbers. The highlights:

Freemium model. Replaces the 14-day trial: the app is free forever, and Pro (a one-time €14.99) adds automation, saved presets, and a configurable widget.
Thermal failsafe extended to GPU, alongside CPU: if either crosses 95 °C, every fan reverts to automatic immediately, no exceptions.
Cuts the app's own CPU usage: the fan icon and the gauge's arc stop animating continuously. In normal mode, it sits around 3% at idle, rises to 4-8% while you're adjusting settings, and peaks at ~14% if you drag the gauge non-stop.
CPU saver mode: a minimal text-only interface, meant to be left running all day, with refreshing fully paused while the window isn't in view — around 1% at idle, peaking at ~3% on changes.
Apple Silicon support (M1 through M5) and a bilingual app (Spanish/English).
Stops asking for the admin password on every launch.
